Tiankov TV - Program concept

The ideas, priorities and tendencies, on which the program concept of “Tiankov TV” are based, contradict to the clauses and demands, underlying in the “Law for the Television and Radio”.

The aim of the creation of “Tiankov TV” is to fill up the want of more television channels with musical-entertainment character with gaming elements.

Using this television channel the Bulgarian spectators will be able to be fully introduced with the thematics and variety of genres of the Bulgarian folklore and more especially the thracian.

In the mean time in the program of the channel will be severed enough time for the opportunities for modern sound and interpretation of our folklore inheritance, culture, traditions and customs.

Special place in the program of “Tiankov TV” is severed for the kids. By natural funny and entertaining way they will be introduced with the traditions and customs in the way they were remembered by their parents and grandparents. Almost forgotten childish games, interpreted in television format, riddles, proverbs in thematically combined rubrics.

The program of “Tiankov TV” is broadcast in Bulgarian language, as there aren't any elements of Nazi, religions intolerance or tolerating of brutal violence of any kind. The main idea of the program of “Tiankov TV” is to protect the national and local interests, common to all man kind and to make accessible to maximum number of people the achievements of the Bulgarian knowledge and culture. To help and protect the building of united civil society, to approve generally accepted ethical and spiritual worths, to guarantee freedom of word and protection of any kind of violation of free will. The private production of “Tiankov TV” will have mono thematic characteristic, directed to the Bulgarian folklore. The main lines, of which the program concept will be build are musical-entertainment and gaming.

Musical Panel

This part of the program of “Tiankov TV” is main and it's contained by two basic components – musical and informational-entertaining one. It will form 70% of the main broadcasting time. This part of the television program is divided itself to a few parts.

The Thracian music will occupy fundamental part in the musical panel of “Tiankov TV”. It will be woven into the program as basically into couple of blocks in different times – morning block, afternoon block, and night block. The duration of these blocks is 60 minutes for each.

In the same way will be distributed the other components of our program. The informational-entertainment part is distributed between the rest of the program parts in way which balances the music with the information, funny games and historical reference.

This is the part, which will not only entertain the spectators but will give them the opportunity to become a part of the program's building process.

Educational and culture program.

This part of the program is about 16% of the whole “Tiankov TV”. It's main task is to inform and introduce new knowledge in the area of folklore and traditions in the spectators audience. In dependency of the thematics and characteristics of the information which is to be given it is pointed in several television forms.

“Thracia tells” was thought to be more like a magazine program that is to tell stories about the thracian folklore inheritance, the opinion of experts in different areas, the viewer's opinion on the phone or by letters and e-mail. To check what you have learned there is a riddle - “Do we know the Thracian inheritance?”. In this rubric of the program viewers will be answering questions, connected thematically with the rubric. We kept in mind place for those who wants to learn the most popular songs from the thracian This will be the Folklore Karaoke. There will be opportunity for everyone to ask questions on fair or to talk to theirs favorite performers, folklorists or historians guests in the program. “Thracia tells” will be broadcaster every workday between 10:00 (GMT +02:00) with duration of 60 minutes and will be repeated at 23:00 (GMT +02:00).

“I've chosen” will be a rubric in which viewers will choose to learn more about the history of their favorite songs. Where the song were sang for the first time, which is the most famous performer or band which performed it. This rubric will be with duration of 10 minutes and will be broadcaster several times a day, accompanied by implementation of the song which is attended to. It is provided as separating part between different musical blocks. It will be broadcaster in the hours between 12:00 (GMT +02:00); 16:00 (GMT +02:00); 22:00 (GMT +02:00).

“The old Album” it will be rubric especially made for the lovers of the old town songs. In the duration of one hour the hosts of the rubric will introduce the viewers with the history of evolution and characteristics of the old town songs. With the ideas, in which it is developed in the years and nowadays. The rubric will visit different performers and bands from every skirts of the country, which keep the traditions of the old town songs.

“Balkan themes” will be a program which will tell about the folklore traditions of the Balkans as whole. The role and the place of the Bulgarian folklore and the historical interaction with the other nations. The Balkan themes will search the common and the different in the evolution of the folklore inheritance on our peninsula. This program will be 30 minutes and will be broadcaster every Tuesday and Thursday at 20:00 (GMT +02:00)

History

This thematically part of the program project of “Tiankov TV” contains several rubrics and programs, which bears historical knowledge in different topics connected with the Bulgarian folklore.
Although it has about 5% of the program schema of the television, this rubric carries enough information, revisited by historians and experts ethnography.

Modern folklore

This part of the program is 16% of the whole program of “Tiankov TV” and it's purpose is to show the evolved Bulgarian folklore with polished sound and tight connection with the other music styles.

This type of new age music can be watched and listened just like the rest of the musical program is separate blocks. Especially for this viewers is the rubric “Folklore Today”. It is broadcaster once a week with duration of 30 minutes. Every Wednesday from 18:00 (GMT +02:00).

Amusing Program

In the program of “Tiankov TV” this trend will have about 12% share. In it's main it will be a production connected with curious facts, games and riddles.
One part of the amusement program of the media will be entrusted to external producers. The amusement program is divided into the following components.

Funny Games

This is the biggest part of the amusement section of the channel “Tiankov TV”. It contains all the rubrics and programs that are supposed to entertain the viewers audience. In this numbers are the different amusement programs and games.

Curious facts

Under this common name are united those rubrics and programs that carry knowledge and amusement at the same time. It this union can be add one huge part of the whole production of “Tiankov TV”

Kids Hour

This part of the program contains itself all the rubrics created for children. In this case are the music from the Bulgarian folklore made for children, and this is one big share of our folklore inheritance, funny games, curious facts and specialized childish folklore program.

“Folklore School” is a program made for kids by kids. It is though in way that everything that is said and shown in it to be in proper shape for the children. This is also the main reason why the program is made by children under the guidance of the editor's team. The role of the hosts can also be given to the kids. The “Folklore School” will be broadcaster every Sunday at 10:00 (GMT +02:00) with duration of one hour. When have in mind the audience for which this program is created, childish programs are provided in the morning and in the late afternoon. The ambition is to embrace vast genres variety in the area of kids programs. Part of the production will be from external producers, but most of the share is our owns.

Every folklore school in Bulgaria can participates in the program. Once a month they will have the opportunity to show what they have learned in concerts or will be personally represented. This project has the work title “New Talents”. It will be realized with the co operation of Community centers and school and is created to for the teenagers. The program will be broadcaster every last Sunday of the month at 16:00 (GMT +02:00) with duration of 30 minutes.

TV Show

In this share of our program we display our whole show programs, that includes our productions and external productions. This is the most attractive part of our program in which the viewer is an active participant. The type “TV-show” also is the one of the most modern variant of contrariwise connection between us and the viewers audience. Our own investigation performer between different ages shows that they prefer this kind of television form:

The investigation showed that the biggest interest at tv-show programs is contained in the viewers audience between 25-35 years. A bit less is the per cent between the ages of 35-50 years. Using the data from this investigation without pretentious for exceptional accuracy, the team of “Tiankov TV” tried to develop the amusement show programs according to the interests of the people of this ages. Of course this doesn't mean that the kids programs will be based upon these investigations.

Although it takes only 5% share of the whole program duration, the advertisement policy of “Tiankov TV” will give you the opportunity to advertise in one tightly specialized channel. The advertising policy of our television is consistent with the “Law of Radio and Television”, and also with the requirements of the viewers in a way which guarantees he will not be strung up.

The advertising program of “Tiankov TV” won't propaganda products or ideas, which are dangerous for the health or the personal security of the citizens. There won't be allowed elements of pornography, violation or use of drugs and smoking. We will not tolerate abuse with the national emblem or anthem.
